Business Support – Strategic framework application fund – Facilitated by Angus Council
If your business is required to close by law or to significantly change its operations due to COVID-19 restrictions from 2 November 2020, you may be eligible to apply for grant funding.
Applications are now open for the following funds:
• Business temporary closure fund
• Business restrictions fund

Please note when completing these applications that if you are in receipt of charitable rates relief, please tick the box that says that you you pay rates directly to the Council. There is not an option for ‘in receipt of rates relief’ however I have checked this with the Council. If you have any issues with applying for the fund, please email Invest@angus.gov.uk
Angus Council Discretionary Fund
The Councill have also opened the above fund on Friday 29th January. The fund is to support businesses that have been impacted by Covid-19 restrictions and regulations and have had no financial support since 9th October 2020.

Adapt & Thrive Programme & Communities Recovery Fund
The Adapt and Thrive Programme has introduced two significant changes to the current criteria. Eligible organisations can now access funding regardless of turnover size and the top value of grants will increase from £25k to up to £75k.

UnLtd Scotland announced its new tranche of funding to identify and support social entrepreneurs. Up to £15k is available for awards – alongside a package of one-to-one peer support. They are particularly keen to encourage applications from people who identify as Black, Asian or from a minority ethnic background – as well as people with a disability. Tech for Good Build 2021 is aimed at supporting organisations (who have an income of between £70K – £10M) to define, develop or re-purpose digital tools, platforms and products that meet a social need or challenge. Deadline Fri 12th Feb at noon.
Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund (for loans of between £100K and £1.5m) – closes at 11.59pm on 31st March.
Volant Charitable Trust Open Grant aims to support women, children and young people who are at risk and facing social deprivation. It supports Scottish charities and projects, whether national or community-based, which help alleviate social deprivation, particularly supporting women, children and young people at risk – closing date 30 April 2021.
The Scottish Children’s Lottery has reopened across its four-grant giving SCIOs – Chance to Connect, Succeed, Flourish and Study. There are no deadlines and applications are reviewed quarterly. You can apply for a small grant of up to £5,000, or for a large grant of up to £25,000.
